How amusing!  Or it would be if it wasn't so damn stupid and depressing.  Yes, we all know that the anti-American crowd won the election.  We know that the United States is about to become an historical footnote and its citizens will soon be enjoying the same standard living as the rest of the world, along with similar rights and freedoms, and yet these same foolish people are actually highlighting the fact that other countries are welcoming this collapse and applauding along with them as if it is a good thing for them personally.  How truly grotesque that an entire nation would commit hara kiri and think itself honorable and noble.  The self hatred of so many Americans has finally caught up with them and the result will be a far cry from what they expect.

From now on I am a hyphenated American, the tide has turned and I can no longer accept what it means to be this new kind of American.
